Barangaroo represents an extraordinary opportunity for urban waterfront renewal, rarely available to global cities. On the western edge of Sydney's CBD, this 22 hectare former container port is being transformed into a vital new extension of the city.
Come and learn more about Barangaroo, by taking a Self Guided Tour at the Barangaroo office, with a spectacular view overlooking the site. Find out about our world-leading sustainability initiatives that are fundamental to the vision and philosophy of Barangaroo. A 15-20 minute walk along Darling Harbour from the Sydney Convention and Exhibition Centre to the Barangaroo, there is no need to pre-book - this is a self guided tour. Sessions: Monday 5 March 8.30am-5.30pm and Tuesday 8.30am-5.30pm |

Pop Sydney: Sussex Lane will transform this Sydney laneway into an oasis during Green Cities, where grass replaces pavement. For two days only, the lane will be open for all to enjoy the grassed space where you can listen to public talks from some incredible speakers and enjoy a casual drink from one of the small bars in the lane. Interested in the City's innovative plans for green infrastructure? Learn more about our energy, water and waste plans for a sustainable city at Pop Sydney: Sussex Lane. Monday in the laneway features free Pecha Kucha 20x20 talks - a space for creative people to get together and share ideas, works and thoughts, in a "20 images each shown for 20 seconds" format. Tuesday brings GreenUps, Sydney's green meet ups, to the laneway and asks "Can we make Sydney more sustainable?" We think the answer is a resounding YES. Also on Tuesday night in the laneway, the official Green Cities wrap-up drinks will be held, providing you with more valuable networking opportunities with green thinkers. |
