Green Cities history
Now entering its 6th year, Green Cities is an annual event jointly hosted by the Green Building Council of Australia and the Property Council of Australia. The event runs in Sydney and Melbourne and attracts national and international green building professionals.

Green Cities profile
Green Cities is Australia's pre-eminent showcase of leading thinking on sustainability in the built environment.
Green Cities comprises:
- Major conference (Monday and Tuesday) featuring Australian and international keynote speakers and 16 concurrent sessions
- Full day of master classes and site tours (Wednesday)
- Large exhibition showcasing up to 100 organisations, which in 2012 will be open to non-conference delegates free-of-charge
- Unique networking functions: VIP dinner (exclusive for sponsors, keynote speakers, international guests), Gala Dinner (Monday) and Wrap-Up Drinks (Tuesday).

- Since 2007 a total of 4700 people have attended Green Cities
