Mark Kelly, Director of Sustainabity, Woods Bagot

Mark Kelly, Woods Bagot’s Global Leader of Education and Science, has over twenty years of experience as an Architect and Designer including time spent in Australia and the United Kingdom. He has a broad range of design skills specifically in commercial, leisure, residential, education and specialist buildings. Mark has developed a special expertise in highly serviced Medical Research and Laboratory facilities and the master planning and design of such facilities.

Also as the Global Director of Sustainability for the company, Mark leads our Global Green Team of leaders in all our regions, and drives our knowledge in the area of Environmentally Sustainable Design.

Mark has been the recipient of many industry design awards and is currently working on several high profile projects in Australia, Asia and the Middle East that have a highly sustainable agenda.

Mark is a regular speaker at conferences and has published many papers on Specialised Buildings and Sustainable Design initiatives.

Green Cities 09 is Australia's premier conference for sustainability in the built environment. A joint initiative of the Green Building Council of Australia and the Property Council of Australia, the theme for Green Cities 09 is "Valuable, Affordable, Sustainable".

Green building innovators will gather in Brisbane from 1-3 March, 2009 to launch new products and technologies, and explore new ideas in sustainable building.
