David O’Shaughnessy, Project Director, Bovis Lend Lease


David is the Project Director for the new Royal Children’s Hospital project in Victoria. This is a $1.1billon project being delivered by the Children’s Health Partnership, a consortium of Bovis Lend Lease, Babcock & Brown and Spotless Group for the Victorian Department of Human Services.

David has worked in the property industry for 25 years and has extensive experience in the project management, design and construction of major projects across residential, commercial, retail and infrastructure sectors. He began his career with Civil & Civic in Victoria and, after ten years, moved to Mirvac for 7 years where he was Construction Director on various projects. He returned to Bovis Lend Lease in 2003.

David has a Bachelor of Building (Honours) from Melbourne University.

Green Cities 09 is Australia's premier conference for sustainability in the built environment. A joint initiative of the Green Building Council of Australia and the Property Council of Australia, the theme for Green Cities 09 is "Valuable, Affordable, Sustainable".

Green building innovators will gather in Brisbane from 1-3 March, 2009 to launch new products and technologies, and explore new ideas in sustainable building.
