Graham Whittaker, Lighting Application Manager, Zumtobel Lighting

Graham Whittaker moved to Australia from his Native England in September 2008 to take up the position of Lighting Application Manager for Zumtobel Lighting Australia, he joined Zumtobel Lighting UK in 1999 as Chief Lighting Designer/Technical Manager.He has lectured extensively throughout the UK and has also spoken at conference events in the UK and Europe  and has sat on technical committee's involved in writing lighting guidance for workplace environments and is currently advising the GBCA on best practice for lighting in commercial interiors. He originally trained and practised as Product Designer before catching the bug of Lighting Design he has worked in both lighting consultancy and manufacturing and has over 20 years experience within the lighting Industry.

 

Green Cities 09 is Australia's premier conference for sustainability in the built environment. A joint initiative of the Green Building Council of Australia and the Property Council of Australia, the theme for Green Cities 09 is "Valuable, Affordable, Sustainable".

Green building innovators will gather in Brisbane from 1-3 March, 2009 to launch new products and technologies, and explore new ideas in sustainable building.
