Christian Bertolini, Engineering Practice Manager (APC by Schneider Electric)


Christian Bertolini – ME (Elec) MIEAust: graduated in Electronic Engineering from the University of Parma (Italy), is member of two European Standard Committees (Committee 64 – Electrical Systems, and EN62040 – UPS Systems); for the last 9 years he has been working in the Data Centre design industry and in education for high efficiency power systems and hydrogen fuel cells solutions. Christian Bertolini is author of several white papers on power systems applications: Intelec, PMAPS (Probabilistic Methods Applied to Power Systems), ANIE Italy. At the present time he is working as Professional Services Manager for APC by Schneider Electric Australia. As part of his interest in environmental matters and sustainability Christian has been writing and producing a series of documentaries on sustainable design. Major achievements: Ferrari Formula One Data Centre (Maranello), Data Centres grid for the Italian Institute of Physics (Bologna and Torino), hydrogen Fuel Cells system for telecommunications.

Green Cities 09 is Australia's premier conference for sustainability in the built environment. A joint initiative of the Green Building Council of Australia and the Property Council of Australia, the theme for Green Cities 09 is "Valuable, Affordable, Sustainable".

Green building innovators will gather in Brisbane from 1-3 March, 2009 to launch new products and technologies, and explore new ideas in sustainable building.
