Paul Martin, Director, Kador Group Holdings

Paul Martin is a director of Kador Group Holdings, a privately owned property investment company that owns commercial, industrial, retail and residential property in Victoria, NSW, the ACT and Queensland.

He graduated at Melbourne University in 1982 with a Bachelor of Building majoring in Quantity Surveying. He initially worked for a building contractor before moving to a professional quantity surveying practice where he held the position of Victorian State Manager for a number of years before joining Kador in 1998.

Paul holds additional qualifications in Property, Taxation and Finance.

In recent years Paul has played an active role in the upgrade and repositioning of 500 Collins Street Melbourne from a tired B Grade office building to a an A Grade quality, 5 Star Green Star land mark, and is currently involved in the refurbishment and upgrade of a Sydney Heritage building to achieve a 6 Star Green Star rating.

Green Cities 09 is Australia's premier conference for sustainability in the built environment. A joint initiative of the Green Building Council of Australia and the Property Council of Australia, the theme for Green Cities 09 is "Valuable, Affordable, Sustainable".

Green building innovators will gather in Brisbane from 1-3 March, 2009 to launch new products and technologies, and explore new ideas in sustainable building.
