John Thomas, EX CEO Investa

John has over 25 years experience across the major real estate sectors including funds management, investment and development. He is a director of the Board of the Green Building Council of Australia, Chair of the Property Council of Australia's Sustainability Roundtable and holds a bachelor of Applied Science in Property Resource Management (Land Economics)

Most recently John has held positions including Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Investa Property Group and Acting Chief Executive Officer and Chief Operating Officer of the ASX listed Australand Property Group. His experience includes Commercial, Industrial, Hotel and Retail development and construction plus major Funds Management and Residential Land and Housing operations.

Green Cities 09 is Australia's premier conference for sustainability in the built environment. A joint initiative of the Green Building Council of Australia and the Property Council of Australia, the theme for Green Cities 09 is "Valuable, Affordable, Sustainable".

Green building innovators will gather in Brisbane from 1-3 March, 2009 to launch new products and technologies, and explore new ideas in sustainable building.
