Tony Cope, Head of Office, The GPT Group
Tony Cope is Head of Office for the GPT Group and is responsible for investment management, acquisitions, and divestments of the $5.4 Billion of assets in the core portfolio of GPT and the GPT Wholesale Office Fund (GWOF), and the acquisition and delivery of new developments for both GPT and GWOF.
The investment portfolios consists of interests in prime grade assets located in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Canberra. Assets include Australia Square, MLC Centre, Darling Park, and the Citigroup Centre in Sydney, Melbourne Central, 530 Collins Street and the multi award winning National @Docklands in Melbourne, and the Riverside Centre in Brisbane. Recent developments completed include workplace6 in Sydney, NSW’s first 6 Star Green Star office building, and developments underway include One One One Eagle Street in Brisbane, a 63,000sqm Premium Grade office tower adjacent to the Riverside Centre which is targeting 6 Star Green Star.
Tony is an engineer by training holding both Honours and Masters degrees, a number of property related post graduate qualifications, and has had over twenty years experience in the property industry including the last thirteen years at GPT. He is also a member of the PCA Office Building Quality Steering Committee.
