Matthew Jessup, Principal, Lincolne Scott

Matthew Jessup, a Principal of Lincolne Scott, leads it’s specialist service Advanced Environmental (AE) globally.

Matthew has led AE’s involvement on a number of benchmark ESD projects. These include:
· 30 The Bond, Lend Leases global headquarters and a definitive moment in sustainability being the first major building in Australia to adopt passive chilled beams
· Melbourne Convention Centre was awarded a 6 Star Green Star environmental rating - a world first for any convention centre
· Southern Cross Station in Melbourne, an iconic public transport facility which relies on natural
ventilation for the entire concourse. In 2007 the station was awarded the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) Lubetkin Prize
· City Central Precinct Adelaide including Towers #1 and #2, the largest buildings in Australia to receive a 5 star Green Star rating and deliver the next generation of workplace sustainability and indoor environmental quality

These projects each address sustainability in a unique way and have required innovative and integrated design solutions in order to ensure that the outcome meets the design requirements, is cost effective and is deliverable within the project constraints.

Matthew is responsible of the development of AE globally including its current offices in Sydney Melbourne and San Francisco and currently sits on Lincolne Scott’s Group Strategy Committee.
