Jon has always been a strong advocate for improving the profile of the property and facilities management industry and highlighting its contribution to the economy and its role in managing the built environment. He is keen to see facilities management being recognised as a valid and valued profession, which can attract appropriate individuals and give them the necessary skills to contribute to more sustainable outcomes in the built environment. In particular, Jon is passionate about ensuring good design translates to actual performance and is keen to ensure better integration of the suite of design and performance tools available to industry.
